Greetings all! one of todays movies is a little flick called "Wasting Away" or "Aaa! Zombie!". This was given 3 of 5 stars on Netflix and 5.7 stars on IMDB. VIEW TRAILER HERE.
This flick is original and funny. The key here is that this movie looks through the eyes of the Zombies themselves. Of course they dont know they are dead. the premise behind this movie is that the military is trying to make super soldiers. OF COURSE THEY ARE! What else could the military possibly have time for besides making super soldiers. well the serum is a waste and instead of disposing of it properly they slap ,,get this,,, "infant formula" labels on it and ship it out.
The truck that is carrying this toxic load falls off the truck and a barrel of it falls off. this rolling barrel lands behind a bowling alley where fout friends are gathered as a nerdy little guy is closing. His buddy has the bright idea of mixing beer with the soft serve ice cream. Not a bad idea to me but they walk and grab, infected soft serve.
As the four friends ingest the toxic blend of Ice cream and serum they shed their mortal coils and become members of the undead. Not realizing this they go about the rest of the night not realizing they are zombies. This includes job interviews, and hooking up with some military guy that thinks he is Special forces but is also a zombie.
This is a must see!!! I can only say so much about it. Not really gory but it has it's moments and some pretty good moments.
I give it 4 and 1/2 severed thumbs! And remember folks!
I watch this shit so you dont have to! In this case though I would suggest it.
